A business invitee is a person who enters the premises of another for a purpose connected with the business or other interest of the landowner. This includes store customers and persons accompanying them.
A store owner has a duty to exercise reasonable and ordinary care in keeping the property reasonably safe for the benefit of its customers and persons accompanying them.
